Book 3: ‘The Mystery of the Missing Child’ is OUT NOW

“I loved book three; think it’s the best so far. The twists and turns are challenging to guess. The relationship was realistic with lovely romance blooming. I was never bored and plowed through it in two days.”
— Susan Sams-Baggott.
“It’s definitely another page turner and once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down until I had finished it. The author’s writing is going from strength to strength and I for one can’t wait to read the next book in the series.”
— Pauline Totten

About Wendy

Wendy enjoyed English at school and later went on to study at Southampton University, graduating with a First in English. She has always enjoyed creative writing, experimenting with short stories and even poetry. Writing a novel was something she had always wanted to do but never had the time.

Wendy was born and raised in the South of England, living in Pangbourne (near Reading) and Bournemouth. She spent much of her adult life living in Salisbury, where her books are set, before moving to Brittany in the North of France. During the Covid pandemic she moved to North Tyneside, just outside of Newcastle upon Tyne where she lives with her husband and two cats. She spends her time singing in a local community choir, exploring her new home region, researching for her new books and of course, writing!

Wendy started writing her first novel, in 2020 while living in France. Several re-writes, a return to the UK and four years later ‘The Mystery of the Missing Brooch’ was published in October 2024, with the ‘The Mystery of the Missing Wallet’ following in April 2025.

The Mystery of the Missing Child’ (book 3) , was published on 17th October 2025, and the fourth instalment, ‘The Mystery of the Missing Bequest will follow in spring 2026, with more to follow.
