Spring 2026 update

I can’t believe it’s been nearly six months since my last update! So, what’s been happening?

Book three, The Mystery of the Missing Child was published on 17th October. I had my biggest book launch party yet, which was broadcast live on Facebook for the first time! Readers seem to agree that it is my best book yet, which is great to know but also slightly daunting as to whether I can maintain this improvement with each book!

I’ve been busy getting book four ready for publication. I did one final edit myself, then it went to my copy editor to work her magic. I’ve now completed checking the page proofs and I’m just waiting to see the final cover design. I expect to have news of a publication date soon - hopefully for sometime in May.

Writing book five stalled for a while - so I took some time off for myself. Christmas with my eldest son, New Year with my younger son and grandchildren, a short stay in a delightful boutique hotel in Yorkshire to celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary, an amazing theatre trip to London (I saw Phantom of the Opera, I’m Sorry Prime Minister, The Mousetrap, Cirque de Soleil and Wicked!) and a few days in beautiful Wales.

And now I’m back writing book five which is shaping up nicely. Oh, and I’ve been planning books six and seven in The Salisbury Murders series and working on ideas for two new series!
